Any guitarist who has had the experience of performing on the wide array of the many kinds of guitars which are
made today, and now heard in practically every musical form on the planet, knows the undeniable difference of playing acoustic guitars, and electric guitars. Though they share many of the more obvious similarities in their construction such as the body shapes, a neck and fingerboard, six strings (our standard though more strings are seen today), a headstock with tuning machines, it is here that the similarities stop and the differences...which are just as many and musically more profound...begin.
